(never mind the pronounciation of the last name, Klaus is just fine)
I am working right now at Columbia University Medical Center / Department of Radiology.
In my spare time (however little there is left of it, anyway) I like to learn new skills like navigating with a sextant, the morse code, or new card tricks.
My hobbies are: Music, Sports, Reading, Travel, and Cruising the Net.
As for the picture, that was my lucky day. A spooked deer showed up in front of my car in the middle of the highway. To close an ecounter for my taste. And one more entry in the book "100 reasons why not to date a deer."
And while I am talking about pictures: Here is a very special one
This gentleman beside me is no other than the eminent Nobel laureate Professor Bertram N. Brockhouse, who won the 1994 Nobel Prize in physics together with Professor Clifford Schull of MIT for their pioneering work on neutron scattering from solids. That's gotta be as close to a Nobel prize as I will ever get.
As I am having fun with the internet, I also have another site besides this one:
If you like to drop me a note, here is the e-mail address: hamacher@hephaistos.com
